Egyptian Natural GasHolding Company

Who We Are

Organization Structure

The leadership, sectors and group companies that deliver natural gas across Egypt.

Governance

A holding company built around the value chain

EGAS is led by a Chairman and a board of directors, supported by vice chairmen and sector heads who each oversee a link of the gas value chain.

As a holding company affiliated to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, EGAS sets direction and targets for the group, while operations are carried out through subsidiaries, affiliated companies and joint ventures with international partners.

Each gas concession is typically operated by a joint-venture company formed by EGAS and the contractor, while national companies such as GASCO run the transmission grid and distribution companies deliver gas to customers.
