Project overview

The West Delta Deep Marine (WDDM) concession, off the Nile Delta in the Mediterranean, is one of Egypt's longest-running deepwater gas developments. Successive development phases tie new subsea wells back to existing infrastructure so that production from the area keeps supporting the national grid.

What the project covers

  • Drilling and completing new deepwater development wells.
  • Subsea tie-backs to existing offshore and onshore facilities.
  • Processing at onshore plants before gas enters the national grid.

EGAS follows the work with its international partners to keep supply reliable and to make the best use of existing infrastructure.
